I am a Ph.D. candidate @ USC's Vision & Graphics Lab (VGL), advised by Prof. Yajie Zhao, Prof. Hao Li, and Prof. Randal Hill, with research inspired by Prof. Paul Debevec's, work on the Light Stage.
Research: My work focuses on light transport, combining Light Stage data with machine learning to capture real-world material properties for relighting, physically accurate material generation, and neural rendering. I aim to advance realism and accuracy in digital material and light interaction.
Experience: I'm currently an intern at NVIDIA (Santa Clara HQ, AI4Media) working on relighting. Previously, I interned @ Dolby Vision, Tiktok AI Lab, and Google, on graphics, vision, open source, and AI. I also founded papercopilot.com, a system for tracking peer review dynamics and talent trajectories in AI / ML. It has attracted 356k users across 191 countries, over 11.75 million global impressions. and has been featured in Barclays Equity Gilt Study (U.K.), ShoutoutLA (U.S.), SCMP (南华早报, H.K.), 机器之心, 新智元, 量子位, and other media outlets. I’ve also had the chance to share Paper Copilot with NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang and receive improving feedback.
Community: I serve as a reviewer or program committee member (ICLR, NeurIPS, ICML, AAAI, etc.). Earlier, My volunteer leadership roles at the Olympic/Paralympic Games have been covered by media outlets such as 中国中央电视台 (CCTV-5, CCTV-13), 北京卫视 (BRTV).
